couchsurfing x DA NANG, VIETNAM.

- On my way back to Laos I had to travel up from Hoi An and decided to save some money while couchsurfing at a local guys place. Long showed me around, drove me on his scooter and I met his friends.
Thanks Long for a great night in Da Nang.

drama gypsy soul x TRAVEL UPDATE.

- I know I'm a bit slow with the update of my photos from my traveling, but I'm doing my best!
At the moment I'm in my hostel in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. This is the first place I've been to in this country and I can't wait to start traveling around here. But right now I'm kind of stuck in this messy, smelly city.
To apply for my indian visa is a bit tricky and takes it's time, but I'll just try to do all the boring paperwork here and now and then just wait for the answer.
I had a shit day yesterday with alot of disgusting and rude locals, drama, no help and no english from anyone, and today my two travel friends from NYC & Europe left. I wish I could do it to but I just need to get my shit done. Then I'm free again. I a few days or a week.

Today was better thougt, did all the paperwork for my visa, some reading, eating local street food, buying lots of mini bananas, writing with some lovely travel friends I miss, had dinner with two locals and delicious ice cream date with a new friend, a spanish tattoo artist.

Soon it's time for shower and finishing the book I'm reading, The Alchemist.

marble mountain #1 x HOI AN, VIETNAM.

- The second day in Hoi An, I accidentally sat down at some guys table during the amazing breakfast and we all enden up talking about all that travel, future,, experience-talk that all travelers always talks about and then they asked if I wanted to go on a half day-trip to the Marble mountain for free. Their friend who got the third ticket was way to hang over to leave the bed and so I got the spot instead.
More photos are coming from this spectacular place.

And thank you again Chris and Tristan for this!

breakfast buffeé & coffee crawls x HOI AN, VIETNAM.

- Have I told you that breakfast is my favourite meal of the day?
When I checked in to Sunflower Hotel in Hoi An a sunny day, my life was kind of perfect when I got to know tha breakfast buffeé was included.
I also got a new friend, american Marcie who works in Philippines at the moment with some gorgeous kids and helping building up the paradise after the natural disaster.
I'm sooo keen to come and visit you..!

new year x CAT BA, VIETNAM.

- This time I decided to not consentrate on traditional and holiday days, only traveling. On new years eve I spended some time on a island around Halong Bay, east of Hanoi to just relax, eat good food, drink coffee, read and enjoy the nature. Didn't take much photos there thought.

street food & other beauties x HANOI, VIETNAM.

- Just posting some random photos from my visit in Hanoi.

hanoi social club & my love for coffee x HANOI, VIETNAM.

- As some of you know, I'm a coffee freak. So I got this thing going on while I'm traveling. For every city/town I go to, I try to find the best coffee. And I also try to visit coffee plantations while traveling.

So now I just need to share an experience from Vietnam with you guys.
After been working as a barista in the worlds coffee capital (Melbourne, AU) and even got myself some coffee beans tattooed on my arm, all I want now is good coffee.

With the help from the app Beanhunter, made by, obviously, a guy from Melbourne, you can find the best coffee shops around the world. But this app is pretty new so it's slowly building it's way up.

Anyway, with that app i found the number one café in Hanoi, Hanoi Social Club which ALSO is owned by a guy from Melbourne, haha... And damn, what was a good place, and good coffee. The food was amazing, the style and atmosphare of the 3/4 level cafe was also in my favourite Melbourne-artsy style.
I tried the traditional coffe from Hanoi, Cà phê trứng, (egg coffee). And.... I LOVED IT! Too bad you ONLY can find it in Hanoi. Belive me, everywere I've been in Vietnam they all said that they just do that kind of coffee there.

Curious about how to make it or just wanna know more about it? Klick HERE then.

big city charm x HANOI, VIETNAM.

- On the 28th of december me and my former travel buddy flew to Hanoi from Vientiane, Laos.
I think this might be the craziest city I ever been to. Bangkok's nothing compare to this place. Great food and the city is selfe was a beauty.

analog love x VANG VIENG, LAOS.

- On the last evening in Vang Vieng I hung out with an american photographer and he showed some of his cameras. Here's on of them wich I totally fell in love with. Missing my analog cameras back home at mums place in Sweden now...

UPDATE FROM SOUTH LAOS.

- Hey folks! I'm back on track after some crazy days of traveling from Vietnam back to Laos, but this time to the hot part of the country. The south! Finally some days with over 27 degrees and a bit on tan.
I've been stuck in a village for a night with my travel buddy and locals. Not a singel english speaking  in the whole town. It was even a struggle to get some food and the worst part was how we were supposed to get out of there. But finally in the end we found a local bus with no doors and trashy seats.

the blue lagoon x VANG VIENG, LAOS.

- A moutain bike trip to the blue lagoon.

in to the caves x VANG VIENG, LAOS.

- Climbing up and down, in and out and getting lost in a huge cave. There's no beauty like the beauty of the nature.
A day full of adventures with Donna, Rich and Keegan.

village life x VANG VIENG, LAOS.

- The best part of Vang Vieng, or maybe even north Laos is the villages and the locals. It's breath taking... I could ride my bike all day and just soak up all the beauty. Except from some of the kids that wanted money after i took a photo of when, which they begged me to do.

monkeys and kids x LUANG PRABANG.

- Oh so many cute kids playing by them self on the streets in Laos. They are everywhere and they are so happy to hang out with you too without being scared.

update from the coffee paradise x HANOI, VIETMAN.

- Hey folks. Sitting at the coolest hipster/artsy/vintage/photo café in Hanoi and drinking Cafe Trung (amazing traditional coffee, ONLY in Hanoi) and coconut ice cream coffee.

Me and my canadian travel buddy are soon going down to get some street food befor we catch a cab to the boring airport. Spending the night there, and at 07:30am our flight is taking us down to Da Nang/Hoi An.
Missing the sun, heat and the ocean so much! Haven't been in a place without ocean for ages and I've been now when I've been traveling up in the moutains.

Talk to you lateroo.

- Hi everyone. Hope you all had a good NYE with not way to much drinking. I had to woke up after 4.5h to get ready fom departure. Now we're all packed and chilling for a few more minutes before we're going down to the bus station that will take us to the harbour here at Cat Ba island and then the boat over to the mainland and Hanoi. Today is our last day in the cold for hopefully a long time. Flying south in less than 24h, can't wait to get my tan back! Haha...
