BREATH & SLEEP.

- Have you ever thought of how powerful sleep and breathing is? We underestimate is so much. We do it without thinking and as long as we can go to school, work and live our everyday-life we think it's enough. But it's not! I bet that most of you don't sleep enough. Or that you're going to bed way too late. How many times have you heard the sentence “...there will be sleeping enough in the grave....”. That's what Benjamin Franklin said.
Well Ben, I don't think you'd wanted to look like the girl on the left photo and feel as her do you? Well, I guess you don't care cause you're already in the grave...

And even if we don't look like th photo (hopefully). I still think you should have a good look at it and the text around it. And breathing? Oh man, if you get used to the yogic Pranayama (breathing technique) then most of your main problems will stop you from living a longer and healthier life.

Me myself, I sleep between 7.5h-9h a night and wake up before 9am to kickstart a new day I'm blessed with.
Don't take everything for granted folks.

DIY DETOXED & NATULAR SUN KISSED HAIR.

- Before & after photos at my hair.
From cutting off more than 7 cm after my long trip and detoxing it from all the sun and salt water for 2 years. What was left was healthy, natural dark brown hair.
But then I missed my sun kissed surf hair and decided to try to lighten my hair up with only natural stuff.
And if you don't have a sun (as in Sweden during autumn & winter) you gotta try other natural things.

So I mixed up lemon, honey, vinegar, conditioner and crush Vitamin C tablets. Soaked my hair with it a few times and After a while I got the sun kissed stripes back.
Oh, I cant imagine how light my hair will be when I'm in the Indian sun for a couple of months..!

GYM // 1ST ADVENT.

Ph 1: the gym at my job in Tylösand. // Me and Frida hanging out at my other job after our workout.

- Hey everyone. A week full of great training. Feeling really good! It's sunday but not any kind of sunday.
First of advent! It's crazy how time flies away. I went for a 45min workout at the gym, 45 min power walk by myself and with Suzana later on. Vacumed the apartment, made some lunch and now preparing for some cozines this afternoon with my brother. Dan is coming over and we'll make some hot chocolate, bunns and tea.
Then we're going to the yearly christmas deco (Julskyltning) in the town.

WINTER START // YOGA.

Ph 1. Pimped my nails, PEACE! 2. My the most delicious sugarfree, fatfree, vegan and raw chocolate balls a few day ago. 3. Yoga in the beginning of this autumn in the forest. 4. One of the few coziest places to be found here in Halmstad.

- Hey folks, sitting and listening to a australian friends music.
Amazing to see how fast he grows internationally.

A short workout and then it's time for my wednesday yoga this evening.
Getting really exited for my yoga workshop this saturday afternoon in Andersberg at ZONEN. A community for girl, mostly immigrants. It's going to be such a interesting and educative thing for me. And hopefully everyone there feels comfortable and enjoys it.

HEALTHY TRUFFLES.

- I never been doing this much making in my whole life like I've been doing this autumn. Yes, this autumn is all about ponchos, yoga clothes, tea, cooking dinner with friends and heaps of baking.
Not long time ago I tried something new and made some healthy truffles. But I couldn't wait to roll them so we all here at home just ate if straight from the bowl with a spoon.

A PART OF OCTOBER.

- Hello folks. I had such a good start this morning. After our cozy weekly veg-dinner with Petra, I was sitting up til late doing research about my upcoming adventure. This morning I woke up, had a half apple and a cup of black coffee and went straight to the gym for a intense 30min circuit.
Finished with a short power walk home, had a long and hot shower, brekky and a Skype meeting.
Today I'm just going to relax at home with family before work tonight.

INTERNATIONAL ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR - COPENHAGEN.

- New week, new goals.
I'm starting the day with some photos from the International Zumba Instructor education weekend in Copenhagen with Amazing Steve Boedt.
It was nearly 3 weeks ago I was there. The time really flies away..!

Drinking tea at work, trying to keep myself warm in this oh so gray and cold autumn weather.

HEALTHY WILD BERRY SORBET.

- Do you have any way to ripen bananas and craving for ice cream or sorbet?
Put the bananas in the freezer for a night / few hours and then mix it all up with your choice of frozen berries or fruit.

If you'd like to, you can ad a bit of honey.

Too easy & too good to me true!

HEALTHY HOMEMADE CHAI TEA.

-
We're coming into cold and gray times in the noth so to keep yourself energized and healthy I've been playing in the kitchen with all kinds of recipes.
Lately I've been longing for that popular vegan chai tea that it the No #1 thing people drink during winter in Melbourne.

"One soy chai tea / latte, please."

Yepp, you'll hear that sentence everywhere all the time. Especially if you work in a café!
I got pretty tired of that after a while when people always ordered it while I was working. But did I get tired of that amazing smell and taste? NEVER!

Here's how I did it at home a while ago..

I'm still crazy busy and don't have much time and energy for the best, working out and hanging out with friends.
But I'm still trying to sort out some stuff and can't wait to get a few things done from my check list.
Stay here with me!

kesella choco cake.

- I've never been baking with kesella before and had some in the fridge so I though I'll try a new recepie.

1.5 cups oatmeal (rolled oats mixed into flour)
     1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

1 Mix all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

3 Grease / oil a form and either Sprinkle with breadcrumbs or coconut flakes. Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake in middle of oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes (I had my inside in 17 minutes)

choco baking / rainy weather.

- Hello world. Who's it going? Felling good?
The thunder and rain just came to Halmstad and I'm doing laundry. I'm feeling like baking all the time. What's wrong with me? Haha.. I guess it's the weather.
Check out the delicious sticky chocolate cake I made a while ago (photos above).

I'm counting down the hours to 1pm then I'm going to skype with Lyka, my best friend in Melbourne, AU.

Then I'll meet up with my yogi friend. This evening it's all about working out and yoga.

coco choco icecream.

- On of many surprises I made to my brother on his birthday.
A healthy chocolate/banana/coconut ice cream without sugar, dairy of fat. And it is tasting deliciously sweet and light.
Easiest thing to do!

b a k e d .

- I've got in to a period there I love to experiment with baking healthy and sweet things. Of course they are all sugar-free, fat-free and sometimes even vegan.

I never been in to it that much as now. Hmm.. funny how I just got in to it randomly.
I guess my partner in crime in Melbourne, AU inspired me. There's no one like here. Kicking it in the gym soo hard no one can ignore her and then go home and bake all kinds of delicious things. Mostly gluten-free and all that stuff that we fitness freaks are in to.

sunday - ishta - yoga .

- Hello world. I was supposed to go to Gothenburg over the day for a Open Air Yoga event but the weather tells me it's going to be stormy and raining all afternoon. So I got to cancel it and will go to Gothenburg another day for some yoga inspiration and see some friends.

But there's no excuses for not doing yoga.
I did an hour of dynamic Ishta yoga where I develop heat. Build the energy, strength and flexibility in the body. And finished with a smooth and relaxing meditation.

I was wearing my amethyst crystal around the neck for energy and balance. It's the color of the Crown Chakra which is perfect for me a day like this when my mind been unstable.

Hope you all are having a good and relaxed sunday.

6 W e e k P r o g r e s s .

- From not been working out for a while after the accident in Indonesia during my Yoga Teacher training and some traveling after that, I was i really bad shape.
And believe me, I feel much worse than I looked.

So I decided to do one of these "Before & after" photos that everyone does. And here they are!
6 weeks of working out, and eating a little bit better.
I feel much better now and I'm getting back to my normal shape...!
